Podróż minęła raz dwa i już kanał La Manche i już podchodzimy do lądowania. Nad miastem ciemne chmury, niedobrze, bo przecież czeka nas cały dzień chodzenia.
Na lotnisku spotkałam się z Magdą i Darią. Małe śniedanko, ustalenie co robimy i jedziemy do miasta. W okienku miła pani wzorową angielszczyzną powtarza nam trzy razy, jaki bilet mamy kupić i w który autobus wsiąść ;)
Wychodzimy z lotniska, a tam deszcz! No nie, iście angielska pogoda ;) Bilet kupujemy u kierowcy (24h, 15£). Na szczęście podczas podróży słonko już wygląda i przez cały dzień nie pada prawie wcale :)
Po drodze mijamy małe miasteczka. Jak tu cudnie zielono! Wiosna w pełni :) Tylko z tym ruchem coś nie tak ;) Na początku wciąż mnie to śmieszy, auta z naprzeciwka po prawej, na rondzie trzeba skręcić w lewo, zamiast w prawo. Na poboczach miejscami pełno śmieci, jak u nas, tego się nie spodziewałam.
Na przedmieściach Londynu ładne uliczki, ładne domki, z których większość wygląda tak samo. A przed domkami stoją czasem nawet po cztery autka.
The journey passes very quickly. We pass La Manche Canal and start landing. Above the town there are dark clouds, it's not good, we will walk the whole day.
I meet Magda and Daria at the airport. We have a small breakfast, we dicide what to do and we go to the city. At a counter a very polite lady tells us with perfect english what kind of ticket we should buy and which bus to take ;)
We go out from the airoprt and it's raining! Really english weather ;) We buy a ticket in a bus (24h, 15£). Luckily during the journey the sun goes out and the whole day is almost without rain :)
On the way we pass by small towns. It's so nice green here! Middle of spring :) Only the traffic is wrong ;) At the beginning it makes me laugh all the time, the cars opposite are on the right, on the roundabout you must turn left, not right. Near the road there are places where is a lot of trash, I didn't expect that.
There are nice streets at the suburbs of London, and nice houses, but most of them look the same. And in fronts of some of them even four cars stand.
