I have a plan to go to Frascati today, so I go right to the Termini station. I go out earlier just in case of any problems. I like the ticket machines, but I can't see a hole for coins (I ask someone - they work only with a card). Then it turned out that in some of them it's also possible to pay with coins. And they work as a timetable for the next one and half a day as well ;)
To be in a line to the counter one must take a number - like in our offices. I take one ;) But it's not even on the table yet and the queue goes very slowly, although there is the whole line of counters. I had half an hour more, but that time is running out. So finally I decide to use a ticket machine and to pay with a card. It doesn't wanna take my card, but it turnes out later that it takes only half of it and then you should type the pin number. Well, next time I'll be an expert with italian ticket machines ;) Finally I find a one in which I can pay with coins ;)

I go 400 meters to the platform. It doesn't disturb me, but if someone is in hurry, he should mind it.
The ticket should be validated, but it comes to my mind when I sit in the train already. I don't feel like going out but I also wonder what the conductor would do. After an attempt at making himself understood to me (it's always possible to pretend that you don't understand;) ), he just writes the date and hour on the ticket.
