nareszcie relaks / finally relax
Santorini - Kamari
2.10.2013
2 451 km
In Kamari we buy baklava at the promenade and we go to sit on the beach to eat it (baklava, not the beach ;) ). It's already dark, but we sit down at sunbeds (during day they cost 5 euro) and it's great. The sea murmurs, rolling small black stones on the beach, far away wanders a storm, we can see Amafi. Beautiful! At least full relax after two days of scorching ;)
At home we meet again at the terrace, we have wine, takls and laugh till late :)

In the morning luckily we don't have to hurry. We slowly pack the things. The lady is so nice that she lets us to have one room till the afternoon. Jacek went up to the Ancient Thira (I saw beautiful views from up there on his photos later) and we go to the promenade. On the way we go to the shops, although we were supposed not to buy anything more ;) Well, I don't ;) There's just nothing interesting ;)
It seemed that at the end of the promenade there is a tunnel, which goes you don't know where. When we reach it, it turnes out that it's only a niche in the rock. And the first day we've seen that big crowds go there. But there's a church and we can make nice photos.

Powoli wracamy z powrotem.
We go back slowly. And finally we have what we were supposed to have from the beggining - beach :) There are some clouds, it's a little bit windy, but anyway it's great. I sit at a black beach and I pour stones. And those who know me can guess how it finished ;) The stones are not only black and grey but also white and red and green.
There is Amafi Island opposite. The sea reaches me anyway when I sit like this so I get into the water. Well, I'm at Santorini and I can't go back without swimming at least a little bit ;) The water is not warm, the shore is rather steep, waves quite big, but anyway it's great :)

We go to eat something. Asia recomends greek speciality - stifado. So we sit down at a nice lady's place. Well, stifado (here) is nothing special, but at least I have my stomach full ;)
We still have some time, so we go to the beach again. When it's almost time to go back Monika starts to compose an inscription of stones, which are already there. And it looks so fine that we look for more white stones and we make a little photo session. I stay even a little bit more time. And finally I must say good bye to the black beach... it's a shamne!

At home we take a shower, we pack the things and at 4:45 p.m. (surprisingly on time) the lady's hubsband takes us with the car for 15 euro to the port. On the way we have the last views over Pyrgos and the cliffs.
